The West Midlands Biodiversity Photographic Competition 2005

This picture was taken next to the LLangolen canal that backs on to Whixall Moss nature reserve between Morris's and Roundthorn Bridge.It was in May and i was caught in a heavy downpour, whilst sheltering in the hedge the robin flew down and perched on the wooden marker, i managed to get off 3 shots before it flew off. The judge liked it has he had never seen a picture of a robin in the rain before .
