The Bigger Picture
Panasonic Batteries Amatuer Photographer Of The Year 2005/6
This picture was taken next to the LLangollen canal that backs on to Whixall Moss nature reserve between Morris's and Roundthorn Bridge. It was in May and I was caught in a heavy downpour, whilst sheltering in the hedge I noticed the cow in the field behind me, as I watched it I could see it was working its way towards the dandelion, I managed to get off a series of shots and this one happened to be one of them. This was the place that I had taken the Robin in the rain picture moments before.
The cow has been one of my most popular picture and just shows you that being in the right place at the right time certainly helps with wildlife photography.
